Formatting Print Topic

Formatting/LCID (Locale ID):
The LCID (Locale ID) can be modified if you wish to format numbers, currency, and dates differently. This is used mostly for international web sites (Non-US). The default settings in PDshopPro are US - English. See below for a partial list of acceptable codes, or consult with your web server administrator.

If your web server does not produce the desired currency formatting for your LCID, the settings on the server may be incorrect (For example, some older servers may not have current settings to produce the "Euro"). Contact your web server administrator to adjust the Language & Date/Number settings. Please note, our Technical Support may be limited for Non-US installations.

Bypass Database Formatting:
In some rare situations (usually outside the U.S.), your database drivers may conflict with your LCID setting. Under normal circumstances, you should not need to bypass these functions. Only enable a bypass function if you are experiencing formatting inconsistencies. For example, you enter an LCID and currency and numbers display correctly but after you "Save", the decimal place moves. Also, if you experience errors while saving Numbers, Currency, or Dates, you can bypass some internal PDshop formatting functions. This usually resolves "Type Mismatch" errors and decimal placement issues.
