For more complex server-side functions, such a sending email and processing credit card payments, PDshopPro relies on "server components".  Server components are basically software that is built into or installed on Microsoft Windows servers.  Email Component To send email from any ASP page, you need a 3rd party component (server object).  Most web servers have at least one installed.  Contact your web host before selecting an email component.  The email component you select must be properly installed, and must allow you to relay email. XML HTTP Component This is the server component that is responsible for establishing outside connections.  For example, when you process a credit card payment via Authorize.Net or when a Rate Add-On retrieves rates.  You should consult with your web host as to which component is properly installed for your use.  Not all Server Objects listed will work, only those that are installed (and configured) on your web server will work. Errors If you receive any "Internal Server" errors while PDshopPro is processing a credit card payment, sending an email, or when rates are being retrieved with a Rate Add-On, this usually indicates that the component you are using is not setup correctly, or not installed.  In this case, you would need to select a different component or contact your web host or server administrator.
