Practices: |
As a general security
precaution, PDshop (and PDshopPro) users should enable all of the recommended security
options in the PDshop Admin (see the Help pages in your Admin or see the
User Guides for details).
When installing PDshop, be sure you have followed your web host or
server Admin's instructions for properly securing your PDshop database. It is also recommended that you rename your
"admin"
directory to help protect against unauthorized access.

| UPS & USPS Add-On Users: |
| If you use the InterShipper,
UPS, or USPS add-on, you should download and install the latest revision of
the add-on. Recent changes to the add-on functions in PDshop, as well
as changes made by the carriers, may require that both the Add-On and your
edition of PDshop be updated simultaneously. |
