| PDshop Installation Guides |
You install PDshop in much the same
way as you "publish" HTML web pages. PDshop consists mostly of ASP (Active
Server Pages) files, designed to be uploaded and run on a "Windows" web server
or "Windows" web hosting service.
Since PDshop is not installed on your computer (it's published on the web),
there is no "Setup" program to run. You simply upload the files to your
web server/host. After you download PDshop from PageDown Technology, you
can simply "Unzip" the files and start uploading.
Below you will find step by step Installation guides for the different editions
and scenarios. |

| Other Notes |
1) Hosting/Server:
If you don't have a "Windows" web server or "Windows" plan with a web hosting
service, you will need to establish an account with a web hosting service.
Setting up an account with a web hosting service takes just minutes, and we
can recommend some very affordable hosts.
2) Uploading:
You can use any FTP program you like, including the one built into Windows,
or you can use your web host's FTP upload utility (WS_FTP, CuteFTP, Concord
FTP, FTP Voyager, and Microsoft's FrontPage, are examples of commonly used FTP
programs). |
