You can use a simple http hyper-link, or you can use an HTML form. By adding a small snippet of code into your existing web page, you can easily add items to PDshop's shopping cart.
YES. The Web Based Admin has sophisticated Color and Style settings, allowing you to quickly change the look and style of the different storefront sections, headings, backgrounds, menus, and buttons.
You can also use the built-in HTML editor to add customized elements, such as graphics, images, text, or any other code you want to include.
YES. Throughout PDshop there is default Text/Headings, you can change the wording (language) of any text you see. For example, you could rename the "Categories" heading and menu buttons to say something like "Departments".
YES. The latest versions of PDshop are specifically designed for this. PDshop is template based, so there is a straightforward template file (a regular HTML file) along with a CSS file, that you can easily modify or integrate your existing design into.
No additional programming knowledge is required, you would only need to know the basics of web design/html.
YES. For layout/design changes, you can use any Web Design HTML editor such as Microsoft's FrontPage, Expression Web, or others like Dreamweaver, Visual Web Developer/Studio, etc.
Our latest version of PDshop is template based, which makes editing the layout very easy (no experience with code is needed). Some very basic knowledge of HTML might be necessary depending on the magnitude of the changes.
YES. Each item in your storefront can have it's own set of selectable options. Item options can also be configured to automatically make price adjustments, as well as recalculate the weight (for shipping charges). Our latest version of PDshop includes the best "item option" capability available, such as user input, text boxes, radio buttons, check boxes, etc.

Yes. PDshop has a built in Export Tool designed for T-Hub, PDshop will export your orders in the T-Hub Quickbooks format.
T-Hub is a 3rd party solution designed to integrate your shopping cart with QuickBooks and Shipping services like UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. Contact Atandra directly for more details about T-Hub.
YES. The latest version of PDshop includes built in Import/Export tools.
Also, since PDshop uses a Microsoft Database to store all data, you can use any Microsoft Import/Export Tools or Wizards to manipulate the data in the database.
All versions of PDshop support Microsoft Access (MSAccess) and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). All versions of MSSQL, including Express editions, are supported.
PDshop comes with a pre-configured Access database that is ready to use. And if you choose to use PDshop with an MSSQL database, the download includes a built in Format/Setup utility to get your database ready.

PDshop installation is very similar to publishing HTML web pages. You do not need to install any components, there are no setup programs to run, nor do you have to register any DLL's. Installation can be as simple as uploading some files to your web server or hosted web space.

YES. The Web Administrator allows you to customize the regional settings. You can easily change the currency, date, and number formatting to fit your location.
PDshop includes built-in language controls, so you can translate all text you see into other languages (any language) using the web admin.

Payment Gateways / Credit Card Processing |

YES. You can modify the gateway scripts/files to accommodate just about any payment processing system. Using PDshop's Custom Gateway feature, integrating with other processors is always possible.
Most Internet payment gateways provide an integration guide, which gives you step by step instructions (some basic HTML/ASP knowledge may be needed).
NO. You can use any of the payment gateways that PDshop supports, and many, like PayPal, Google Checkout, and 2Checkout DO NOT require a merchant account. With PDshop you can usually start accepting payments immediately.
YES. PDshop can be set to capture payment details, and store it so that you can process it on your own later (using your own merchant tools).
YES. PDshop does not rely on any "gateway software" for gateway connections. Your web host or server Administrator does not need to install any software.

Source Code and Licensing |

NO. When you purchase PDshop, you receive the "software" and a license for one storefront/website. You install PDshop on the server or web host of your choice, so we do not charge you any monthly fees.
YES. You can make changes to the HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET code to further enhance your online storefront.
For HTML (design/look) changes, you would simply modify the "template.htm" and "template.css" files. PDshop has a built in HTML/CSS template system, which makes design changes very easy.
For functionality changes, you would simply modify the ".aspx" files.
NOTE: You are bound by the Terms & Conditions of the software license agreement. All copies of the software, including modified versions, must be licensed. Some versions of PDshop include a single "dll" file, you cannot change this one file (In most cases this would not affect your customization, for example by adding to or modifying the vb.net code in the scripts you can change how the shop works).
Before purchasing PDshop, you can "Test Drive" it using the Live, working Demos. PDshop is not available as a "Trial" download, since the download itself includes proprietary code and other valuable tools.
If you want to setup additional shops you certainly can. All you need to do is purchase additional licenses as needed. Additional licenses are sold separately, at a significantly reduced price (in other words, you DO NOT have to purchase the download at full price again).
