| What is a Cookie? |
| A Cookie is a small text file that Microsoft web servers sends to your Internet browser. Your browser saves this file temporarily to your hard disk. This text file can only be read by the Web server that created it, despite the rumors you've heard! it is a secure and safe way of storing temporary data. Microsoft web servers use cookies to identify your connection, so you do not need to enter the same information repeatedly. When you close your browser and leave our website, the temporary cookie is deleted. |
| How to Enable cookies: |
| Internet Explorer 6.x On the top menu bar, click "Tools" then click "Internet Options". Next, click on the "Privacy" tab. Be sure either the Medium or Low security level is selected. The High security level will not work since it does not allow cookies. If you have selected the "Advanced" security level, click on the Custom Level button and scroll down to where it says Cookies and make sure that "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" and both enabled. Internet Explorer 5.x On the top menu bar, click "Tools". Next, click "Internet Options" and then click the "Security" tab. Be sure either the Medium, Medium-low, or Low security level are selected.
